“Growing up with a cello in my hands shaped who I am – I developed a commitment to the art form as a way of life. I feel like the ear I developed while pursuing a career in classical music has trained me to treat the text as a space for nuance, colour, texture, rhythm, and active listening.
I love practicing ballet and contemporary dance in my free time, as these disciplines give me a sense of peace and connection to my body that directly feeds into my work as an artist. It’s this combination of listening, discipline, and physical awareness that quietly shapes the way I approach each role.”
